The annual 8th Grade Pentathlon takes place on the Sunday immediately following the City Finals Track meets and will once again be held at Bishop Miege High School's track. This year's event will take place on May 6th with registration beginning at 12:00 Noon and the Pentathlon starting at 12:30pm. The event is open to any 8th grade student from Kansas or Missouri who has particpated in the City Finals meet. Pentathlon athletes compete in five events: the 100 meter dash, High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put and 400 meter run. Points are kept based on each athlete's performance in the individual events, then tallied to determine the overall champion in boys and girls divisions.

The 2011 Pentathlon Results are listed here. Please note that in the event incliment weather cancels the Pentathlon, it will not be rescheduled.
